MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

MEMBERSHIP DUES

Regular Membership shall be $15.00 per year. Family Membership shall be $15.00 per year plus $2.00 for each additional member from the same household. Senior Citizen Membership, age 60 years and over, shall be $12.00 per year. Senior Citizen Family Membership shall be $12.00 per year plus $2.00 for each additional member from the same household. Life membership shall be $200.00 plus $15.00 for the spouse. Add $3.00 if joining after May 15th. Write for rates outside the United States.
Dues are payable for the calendar year beginning May 1st and ending April 30th. Annual dues must be paid for any portion of the calendar year. Members will receive quarterlies for the entire year in which they have membership. Any quarterlies already published for the current year may be sent at the time of the next mailing.

MEETINGS

Regular meetings of the Society are held on the second Thursday, September through April, at the Quincy Senior and Family Resource Center, 639 York, Quincy, Illinois, at 7:00 p.m. May is the annual dinner meeting At times the Program Chairman may arrange for monthly meetings to be held at other locations or so a dinner may be served. The time and place of such meetings are announced at the previous meeting. Visitors are always welcome.

SURNAME FILE

Members and non-members are encouraged to send the surnames they are researching to Society for placement in a surname file in the Illinois Room of the Quincy Public Library.

QUARTERLY

The Yellowjacket is published in June, September, December, and March. The Society is dedicated to the collecting of material, both published and unpublished, for printing in the Yellowjacket. Articles of interest to our members include family genealogies, Bible records, vital statistics, census and cemetery records. The Editor reserves the right to edit any material submitted for publication for content and length. Comments and articles for publication consideration should be sent to:

QUERIES

Queries may be submitted for publication in the Yellowjacket without cost to members. A cost of $1.00 per query is charged to non-members. Queries will be printed as space permits with priority to members of the Society.

BACK COPIES OF THE QUARTERLY

An Index to the Yellowjacket includes the issues published from March, 1975 to March, 1989. Additional or back copies of these and later issues, if available, will be supplied for a fee. Write to the Editor in care of the Society at the address above.
